Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you’ll be met by our representative and transferred to your comfortable lodge in Arusha. Nestled beneath Mount Meru, the lodge offers a peaceful place to rest before your adventure begins. Enjoy a leisurely evening and dinner under the stars.
Day 2: Tarangire National Park – Land of Giants
After breakfast, depart with your guide for Tarangire National Park, known for its immense baobab trees and large herds of elephants. Game drive through scenic savannahs dotted with acacia trees, where you’ll spot wildebeest, giraffe, zebra, lions, and colorful birdlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park and continue exploring until sunset. Check in to your lodge or tented camp overlooking the Tarangire River or bush plains.
Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater – Nature’s Masterpiece
Today you drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural amphitheater teeming with wildlife. Enjoy a full-day game drive on the crater floor, where you’re likely to see rhinos, lions, buffalo, hippos, and large flocks of flamingos. After lunch near a hippo pool, continue your drive before heading to your overnight lodge on the crater rim or nearby highlands.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park – Into the Wild
After breakfast, set out for the world-famous Serengeti. The drive offers changing landscapes as you pass Maasai villages and vast savannahs. Upon entering the park, begin your game viewing immediately. Watch for lions, cheetahs, elephants, and seasonal wildebeest herds as you make your way to your luxury tented camp or lodge in the heart of the Serengeti. Enjoy an evening around the campfire with a bush dinner under the stars.
Day 5: Serengeti to Arusha – Farewell to the Wild
Enjoy a final sunrise game drive and breakfast at your camp. Depending on your travel plan, either take a scenic bush flight back to Arusha or drive back through the Ngorongoro highlands. Upon arrival in Arusha, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your international flight or stay overnight if needed.
