Description
The Northern Circuit on Mount Kilimanjaro is the longest and one of the most scenic routes available. This path wraps around the quieter northern slopes of the mountain, offering climbers extensive opportunities for acclimatization and a high success rate for reaching the summit. Typically completed in 9 or more days, the Northern Circuit allows for a gradual ascent and exposes trekkers to some of the most remote and spectacular parts of Kilimanjaro.
Why Choose the Northern Circuit?
- Extended Duration: Allows for the best acclimatization schedule with a gradual ascent.
- Scenic Diversity: Offers unparalleled views of the mountain and diverse landscapes.
- Low Traffic: One of the least crowded routes on Kilimanjaro.
- High Success Rate: The extra days significantly increase the success rate for reaching the summit.
The Northern Circuit is ideal for those who wish to take a less traveled path, enjoy more days on the mountain, and have a higher probability of successfully summiting due to the optimal acclimatization schedule. This route truly offers an extensive and immersive experience on Mount Kilimanjaro.
