Description
The Rongai Route, unique for its approach from the north side of Mount Kilimanjaro, offers climbers a quieter and more solitary experience compared to the more frequented routes. This path is particularly appealing for those looking to escape the crowds and enjoy a more serene ascent. The Rongai Route is known for its gentle gradients and is considered one of the easier paths to the summit. Typically completed in 6 to 7 days, it allows for adequate acclimatization and boasts a high success rate. The route’s northerly approach also means it receives less precipitation, making it a good choice during the rainy season.
Why Choose the Rongai Route?
