Day 1: Arrival in Arusha – Tanzania Begins
Land at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your lodge in Arusha for rest and orientation. Enjoy dinner and a safari briefing.
Days 2–7: Serengeti National Park – Full Immersion Safari
Fly from Arusha into the Serengeti for six unforgettable days of game drives and exploration. Your journey can span across the southern grasslands, Seronera valley (central Serengeti), and western corridor depending on wildlife movement and your preferences. Each day brings incredible sightings of elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, and (in season) wildebeest herds on the move. Optional bush walks or hot air balloon rides are available. You’ll overnight in a mix of lodges or mobile camps based on location and luxury tier.
Day 8: Fly to Rwanda – The Heartbeat of Africa
After your final game drive and breakfast, fly from Serengeti to Kigali. Upon arrival, transfer to a boutique hotel in Kigali for a cultural afternoon. Visit the Genocide Memorial or enjoy a gourmet dinner in Rwanda’s growing culinary scene.
Day 9: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
Early morning transfer to the Volcanoes National Park HQ. After a briefing, you’ll be assigned to a gorilla group and begin the guided trek. After an incredible hour with the gorillas, return to the lodge to reflect on this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
Day 10: Return to Kigali – Departure
Depending on your flight schedule, you’ll either transfer back to Kigali for your departure or extend with additional activities.
